We exist because you deserve to know yourself fully.
Intentional choices don't always have to be radically opposite to your being- you don’t need a new identity. Intentional choices that look like homing pigeons can be more sustainable because it "feels right" in your body when you make it.

Our mission
Life teaches us how to meet expectations. We help people learn how to meet themselves.
We’re building an ecosystem of support that makes wellbeing more accessible- through therapy, coaching (coming soon), and practical tools.(Coming soon)
We believe you shouldn’t have to wait for burnout, crisis, or something to be visibly “wrong” before you deserve support.
Selfen is about understanding what shaped you, noticing the patterns you’ve inherited or learned, and becoming more intentional about what you carry forward.
Not becoming someone new. Becoming more yourself.

Dhwani's why:
I feel like I’ve lived many lives.
Many roles. Many seasons. And in each one, I tried my best to give 100% ; to be the daughter, partner, professional, caregiver, and all the other versions of me that life needed.
Along the way, I learned some things I wish more people were told earlier:
Rest isn't a privilege or something you earn. It's a right.
Self-worth simply is. It isn't conditional.
We also carry old tapes. Things we learned about who we need to be, what we're supposed to do, and how we're supposed to cope. Some of those tapes were helpful once. They just might not be helpful anymore.
And when we experience loss, we don't only grieve the person, relationship, role, or thing we've lost. Sometimes we grieve the person we were — or the person we thought we'd become.
For me, meaningful change is about moving towards the things we care about. Towards a version of ourselves that we actually care about becoming.

Vaibhav's why:
For me, Selfen comes from a different kind of tension.
I know what it feels like to understand yourself well and still not move.
My own pattern has been over-planning and under-doing. thinking, researching, preparing, and understanding, while the gap between knowing and doing gets wider.
That gap is personal for me. It's not theoretical.
I've also had to learn that more opportunities don't necessarily mean more progress. Sometimes the work is choosing the right opportunities instead of chasing every one.
Learning to measure success by what actually moves you forward — not by how much you're carrying.
To trade “I'll do whatever it takes” for a sharper sense of what's actually worth doing.
Because effort isn't the goal.
You deserve to feel like yourself again.
Reaching out is the hardest part. Everything after that the free call, the first session, the pace of the work is entirely yours to shape.

Selfen was built on a simple, stubborn belief that healing, growth, and genuine self-understanding aren't privileges for the few. They're the quiet foundation on which everything else in a life is built.

What we believe
Our experiences are different, but they brought us to a similar place. Sometimes you need space to understand what's shaping you. Sometimes you need help deciding what comes next. And sometimes you need practical ways to take what you've learned and actually live it. That's why we're building Selfen.
One Selfen, different ways to support yourself
We’re building Selfen as an ecosystem of therapy, coaching, and practical products because different moments call for different kinds of support. The throughline is the same: helping you stay connected to yourself in the present.
Therapy
For when you need space to understand.
Therapy gives you space to explore what's been shaping you, make sense of what you're carrying, and understand the patterns you've developed along the way. It's a process that can move between past, present, and future. Understanding where you've been while making room for where you're going.

Coaching
When you know where you want to go.
Coaching is about the present and future. To help you clarify what you want, make intentional decisions, and turn insight into meaningful change.

Products
When you want support in everyday life.
Because insight and change don't only happen in a session. It happens in the Tuesday mornings, difficult conversations, quiet moments, and everyday choices in between.
Coming soon.
We want Selfen to feel like a place where you can breathe a little.
Where things are clear. Where you feel cared for. Where you're encouraged to make intentional choices rather than just do more. Where there's room to think differently, try things, and be creative.
And where, even when we're talking about the hard stuff, there's still room for a little fun.

Our mission
To make you feel like yourself again.
I’ve been a psychotherapist since 2015. I primarily support high-functioning adults navigating grief, anxiety, complex family dynamics, and life transitions- including the quieter forms of grief that often go unnoticed, such as identity shifts, role changes, and pet loss. Many of the people I work with are also untangling long-standing people-pleasing patterns while learning to reconnect with their own needs and values.
My approach is integrative and practical, drawing from CBT, REBT, IFS, mindfulness, and hypnotherapy. I aim to create a warm, grounded space where clients can understand themselves more deeply, process difficult experiences, and move toward a life that feels aligned and meaningful.

What we believe
The principles that guide every session.
These aren't values on a wall. They're the actual ways we show up with every person who trusts us with their time.

Alignment
Alignment
We help you reconnect with what matters to you. Not what looks good on paper or satisfies someone else's expectations what's actually true for you.
02

Authenticity
Authenticity
Real, human connection in every session. A space where you feel seen for everything you are not just the parts you think are acceptable to bring.

Simplicity
Simplicity
Mental wellbeing shouldn't require a degree to access. We make the process approachable, practical, and relevant to the life you're actually living — right now.
Making mental wellbeing practical, approachable
Guided with expertise. Held with empathy.
Guided with expertise. Held with empathy.
Vaibhav B and Dhwani bring a warm, evidence-based approach to every session whether you're in therapy, coaching, or somewhere in between. Together, they hold space for real conversations about emotions, relationships, identity, and the kind of change that sticks
You won't be handed a script or a checklist. You'll be seen.
Their approach is warm, evidence-based, and entirely free of judgement. Sessions are virtual, video or phone, and available to individuals across Canada and globally.

Our Philosophy
Therapy isn't about becoming someone new. It's about coming back to yourself.
Over time, the roles we take on the expectations we absorb, the patterns we develop just to cope can pull us far from what actually matters to us.
Our work is about realignment. Understanding the stories, systems, and experiences that shaped you. Reconnecting with your values, your voice, and your sense of direction. Not becoming a better version of someone else but becoming yourself again.
Whether that happens through therapy, life coaching, or the quiet consistency of daily wellbeing practice, the destination is the same: a life that feels genuinely, recognisably yours.
"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are." — Carl Jung
